Income Generation Officer 

  • Hours: 17.5 hours per week including some evening and weekend work
  • Salary: £34,770 pro rata (Equivalent to GBP17,385), GLPC PayScale Scp18
  • Located: Paradise Park Children’s Centre, IPA sites across Islington with some home working to be agreed with line manager.
  • Reporting to: Managing Director

Nursery Cook 

  • Hours: 25 hours per week (5 hours per day, Monday to Friday)

Paradise Park Children’s Centre is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic cook to plan and prepare lunches and teas for the lively children and babies in our nursery. You will make sure that they get nutritious food to help them keep playing all day long. You will care about children eating healthily, have a positive outlook and a can-do approach. You might already have been working in a similar role or have other experience as a cook or making meals for children that you would like to turn into a new career.

Early Years Worker

  • Hours: 35 hours a week, all year round.
  • Salary: £28,545 – £29,412 (Scp7-9)
  • Located: Paradise Park Children’s Centre, Islington
  • Reporting to: Nursery Manager

We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, energetic and experienced early years worker to join our team at Paradise Park Children’s Centre.

Are you an excellent practitioner with the ability to create a culture of curiosity, awe and wonder in beautiful and natural surroundings? Are you driven to truly ‘make a difference’ in the lives of each and every child in your care? Do you have an Early Years Qualification equivalent to NVQ L3 or above? If so then we really want to meet you.

We’d love you to become part of our happy nursery in Islington as a key worker, focussing on encouraging children to be children, learning through fun and engaging play. We educate and care for children aged from 0 to 5, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.

You will be working with a dedicated team in a caring, family-friendly, characterful and stimulating environment which is inviting to children, parents and staff.

Sessional Playworker

  • Post: Playworker (Sessional)
  • Hours: As required during opening times. Playgrounds opening hours are: Term time: Tuesday-Friday 3.15-6.45PM and Saturday 12-5.00PM; School holidays: Monday to Friday 10.00AM-6.00PM.
  • Salary: £13.15 per hour, excluding holiday pay
  • Located: Various venues and adventure playgrounds throughout Islington
  • Reporting to: Playground Manager

OVERVIEW: Playworkers put children’s play first. As a member of IPA’s pool of sessional workers you will be offered a range of job opportunities in the borough of Islington. We are particularly looking for people to work at our adventure playgrounds throughout school holidays. The position is sessional and you will be recorded on our pool list and will be contacted when work is available.
