What a joy it has been to see the artworks for Freeling Street appearing in my inbox. St Andrew’s School sent drawings and Copenhagen Youth Project gave us photographs. Children at Crumbles Castle made pictures of trees, playgrounds, unicorns and fishbowls.
Local people have asked that we memorialise their wonderful youth worker Stan Grant and sent me his photo. There have also been a few designs made by adults, though children are doing the most work. We have a few more days before we send our picture to the artist so she can print our pictures onto tiles.
