Join an exciting initiative backed by Islington Council to turn Freeling Street into a mini park. Artist Carrie Reichardt will be helping us to create an artwork to celebrate the people and events of Cally by printing local people’s words, designs, photos and artworks onto tiles, which we will use to make a mosaic.
The tiles will be joined together to make a unique mosaic that reflects all of the people who made it. The Caledonian Road area is full of interesting and creative people. We need your talents to make something wonderful. Your artwork can be any size, we will find ways to resize it to fit the tiles.
We need images which stand out from a distance, words that inspire others and pictures that make all local people feel included.
