Digging up clay at one of our Adventure Playgrounds

Summer Holidays at the Adventure Playgrounds

Hundreds of children played on our adventure playgrounds every day of the summer holidays in 2021!

This summer IPA supported children in their play eight hours a day, 5 days a week on four Adventure Playgrounds for 5 weeks between 26th of July to the 27th of August.

Some of the wonderful activities that children enjoyed were building bonfires and clay ovens, cooking bakes and making salads, rain dancing, holding talent shows, building dens, creating ‘the spinning place of feelings’, making crowns,  football matches, snail homes and races, Olympic games, collages and paintings, cardboard box fashions, water slides, sand pies, paddling pools and so much more.

Our teams of plyworkers are creative, qualified, patient and caring. We are so proud of the work they have done this year to make the summer holidays of 2021 memorable and happy for children.

The adventure Playgrounds are free for children and families and play is what children do when adults stop telling them what to do.
