Islington Play is proud of its dual role of delivering frontline play focussed facilities and sessions for children and its lobbying of and discussion with decision and policy makers about the importance of play opportunities for children. We decided to create this report with two aims: to describe the specific impact on real people that adventure play has had and also to illustrate the importance of this way of working to achieve strategic aims that have been developed by the local authority to make children’s lives better.
