Jane joined the Board from the IPA heritage project steering committee. The heritage project worked with children and young people, parents and workers of IPA in the last 40 years to produce an exhibition and archive of the history of IPA playgrounds and their impact on the the community. Jane was one of IPA’s first play organisers in 1974. Then IPA was run by representatives of the different community organised playgrounds and dedicated to improving the amount and quality of adventure play in the borough. Now IPA itself runs the playgrounds and still holds to the same values of free adventure play. Jane is proud to be back at IPA and able to contribute again to play in Islington.
