Islington Play Association relies heavily on people who give up some of their time to help out on a voluntary basis. If you think children’s play is as important as we do then we want you to hear from you.
People volunteer with us because:
- It helps children in need
- It’s fun
- It’s rewarding
- It helps people develop skills, knowledge and can help them with their careers
- It makes their neighbourhoods better places to live in
Our children’s centre and adventure playgrounds are unique exciting places to volunteer where no two days are the same. Expect to be amazed and inspired by the depth and breadth of the innovative and original ideas of children at play.
For child protection reasons, volunteers working with children will need to undertake a DBS check. If you have a criminal record in the UK or abroad, you will need to declare any and all offences but they will not necessarily prevent you from volunteering. Your criminal record will be confidentially verified.
