IPA believes that Play is what children do when they are allowed freedom to explore their world
Working at IPA is challenging but fulfilling. We have high expectations of our staff and we support them to be the best that they can be. We like you to continue your personal development and will try to help you to go on to further study and gain new experiences as part of your work with us. Staff need to be flexible and adaptable as no two days are ever the same when you are working with children.
If you think children’s play and learning is as important as we do then we want you to work with us or become one of our trustees!
This role is the manager and lead playworker on an Islington adventure playground. You will manage a small team and be responsible for the day to running of one of Islington Play Association’s unique sites.
We are looking for people who enjoy working outdoors with children and are open to applicants from many fields as well as adventure play and playwork. Maybe you’re from early years, youth work, or Forest School? We are interested in meeting people who view children with unconditional positive regard and who are passionate about supporting children and young people in their right to play.
