Office Administrator

POST: Office Administrator
LOCATION: Islington
HOURS: 35 hours per week
SALARY: £24,081 p.a.
RESPONSIBLE TO: Services Director

Islington Play Association is a vibrant, proactive children’s charity based at several locations around Islington, including Paradise Park Children’s Centre and 6 adventure playgrounds. We have an opportunity for a good administrator to play an active part in supporting our work to improve the lives of Islington’s children.

About the role
Reporting to the Services Director, you will provide a comprehensive administrative support service and contribute to our ambition to provide outstanding services to the local community. This includes childcare booking, stationery ordering, party and room hire bookings, updating the website and social media, gathering and recording staff information and data entry.

About you
You have excellent attention to detail, good IT skills and the ability to prioritise your workload and manage conflicting deadlines. You act with professionalism, empathy and integrity, and have good interpersonal skills.

LOCATION: Various venues and adventure playgrounds throughout Islington
RESPONSIBLE TO: Playground Coordinator

Islington Play Association is a vibrant, proactive children’s charity. Our aim is simple – to create, provide, improve and protect places for the children of Islington to play. Play is what children do when they are allowed freedom to explore their world. Our Adventure Playgrounds are unique exciting places to work where no two days are the same. Expect to be amazed and inspired by the depth and breadth of the innovative and original ideas of children at play.

We are looking for creative, playful people to become part of the teams at our adventure playgrounds and early years setting. This post would suit someone who wants to work flexibly on an as and when basis. We particularly need sessional playworkers in the school holidays, and have some opportunities during term time.
