Sessional Playworker Vacancies at Islington Play Association

POST: Playworker (Sessional)
HOURS: As and when
SALARY: £11.43 per hour, including holiday pay
LOCATION: Adventure playgrounds throughout Islington
RESPONSIBLE TO: Playground Coordinator

Islington Play Association is a vibrant, proactive children’s charity. Our aim is simple – to create, provide, improve and protect places for the children of Islington to play. Play is what children do when they are allowed freedom to explore their world. Our Adventure Playgrounds are unique exciting places to work where no two days are the same. Expect to be amazed and inspired by the depth and breadth of the innovative and original ideas of children at play.

We are looking for creative, playful people to become part of the teams at our adventure playgrounds and early years setting. This post would suit someone who wants to work flexibly on an as and when basis. We particularly need sessional playworkers in the school holidays, and have some opportunities during term time.

The opportunity we are offering is based at Paradise Park Children’s Centre, in the heart of Islington. Our Children’s Centre is a unique exciting place to work where no two days are the same. POST: Early Years Worker

HOURS: 35 hours per week

SALARY: LBI NJC Scale 3 EYW (£21,189 – £22,298) per annum

LOCATION: Paradise Park Children’s Centre

RESPONSIBLE TO: Nursery Manager and Deputy

Benefits including:

  • 25 days annual leave per year
  • Up to 7% pension contribution
