Annie first worked with Islington Play Association managing a small playground at Priory heights whilst also working as a Playwork Assessor. She found herself spending a lot of time in adventure playgrounds so was delighted when a vacancy came up on one at IPA.

What do you love about working at IPA?
I love IPA's free play ethos and that children and young people get to create their own spaces, guide their own play and do things like using real tools and making fire - when not making slime or sitting and chatting!
What is your favourite childhood play memory?
Climbing trees and making dens; I was always proud of being able to go higher than everyone else. Even in smaller trees it felt amazing sitting in the branches and watching the world go below.
