Simon has been in adventure play since the age of seventeen, which was a long time ago!
He has run and developed adventure playgrounds in London and Birmingham and has been a play development worker, a trainer and run an organisation which built adventure playgrounds.
Simon was featured in a BBC DIY SOS programme developing a Bristol adventure playground and also works internationally with playworkers from other countries! He is a founding member of the Adventure Playground Inspectors Association, and  conducts annual H&S inspections of adventure playgrounds around the country with Children’s Play Advisory Service.
Simon is chuffed to bits to be able to work at MLK adventure playground, a site whose history as a community enterprise makes it stand out.
